Allison: 20,000 Views' Giveaway
**************** GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED ****************
Hello again! Doesn't that cupcake from Sara's last post look amazing?! Mmmm... Okay, I'm back. Our humble little blog has been running now for almost a year. Crazy! I have loved posting about my creative ventures, and sharing this space with my sisters. We just recently passed our 20,000 views' mark (can you believe it?!), and I can't think of a better way to show our appreciation to loyal readers than with a giveaway!
It's already broken 90 degrees here in Arizona, so it got me thinking about my most frequently viewed post: the Car Seat Cooler Tutorial (found here). Having been viewed over 1800 times, I thought it would be fun to give one away this week. All you have to do is post the answer to this question below:
*************************************
What is your favorite Summer craft?
*************************************
Post your answer to that question by Friday at midnight, and you'll be entered to win a car seat cooler of your own. The winner will be announced Saturday morning.
I will hopefully be selling these practical little "coolers" in our Etsy shop soon. Everyone have a great week, and a HUGE thanks for supporting our little blog!

I've never actually had or thought of my favorite summer craft before, but this year I saw on Pinterest (of course!) a towel that rolls up into a duffle bag of sorts with pockets for sunscreen, a water bottle & other pool necessities! I thought it would be fun to have one & probably super easy to make for my older nieces & nephews!
ReplyDeleteNot sure I have a favorite craft at all let alone a summer one. But this year we are going to start a new summer craft tradition with the girls. Now that we are home owners, I need some walking stones. So we are going to make them with all three girls' footprints in them and put the year on it. I want to do it each year and watch them grow. I can't wait to get started on it this summer!

I have never been much of a scrapbooker. There were too many pieces involved! I have started digital scrap booking though and I love it! I look forward to making some fun books this summer documenting our trip to the beach!
ReplyDeleteSo, this is the third attempt to adding a comment, BUT! My new favorite summer "craft" is more of an activity.. We play with yogurt finger paints and then bathe in the splash pool to get a fun color water! Best part... No staining, yummy, and not sugary/overly sticky :)
ReplyDeleteWell, I haven't done it yet, but I want to make one of those cool pipe sprinklers. Sitting under one of those all summer sounds amazing... :)
ReplyDeleteOur favorite is creating sand castles at the lake. That's a craft, right? Last summer, the kids used toilet paper rolls to make bird feeders. The loved checking on their feeders all around the yard and watching out the window while the birds a squirrels ate them.
ReplyDeleteHomemade ice cream or Popsicles from juice. Food counts, right? : )
ReplyDeleteFavorite summer craft...well, it ain't necessarily summery, but I'll be making a lot of baby things this summer; 'tis the season for all my friends to have babies! Also, that is a great idea that you're selling these things in your Etsy shop. They're really practical!
ReplyDeleteAlicia Perkins tried to comment: "My answer was Fourth of July crafts. Anything red, white and blue!"
ReplyDeleteI'm also entering for Elisabeth Glazier. Apparently our blog is being difficult!
